Santa ordered a poster from the UK for £14 for a lucky child. Santa was given pause at check out when post and packaging came to £16, however, being a legendarily generous soul with few other options, he clicked yes on the outrageous post and packaging charge and waited the arrival of the gift.
Imagine Santa’s chagrin this morning when he got a notification that there was a customs charge owing on the poster. After spending some time verifying that it was not fraudulent, he paid the outrageous post-Brexit sum of €14.99.
As you know, some of my best friends and close relations are British, both my parents worked in the UK and my daughter is having an excellent experience studying there. However, today, I was put in mind of this website.
Let us hope that the lucky child who is getting this poster which cost Santa over €50 really likes it.
