A source of never-ending entertainment 27 November, 2006 Posted in: Reading etc. From the Irish Times birth column: “…To Philip and Rachel, a daughter Philippa Trinity Dale…sincere thanks to our Hypnotherapist..and our midwife for all their encouragement and support” [emphasis added].
hmm I wonder how was seeing the hypnotherapist. Phil or Rachel. And they called their daughter Philippa? After dad, I presume.
Hypnotherapy can be really effective for both fertility issues and also for childbirth (and in both cases, both parents can benefit from it), but it’s not often that hypnotherapists get credit in the national press for their involvement in the birth of a child!
Maybe they got discount for advertising her services in the national press?
my hypnotherapy training for childbirth was utterly useless. There was no diverting from my pain. I say “charlatans”- though, obviously, if it works for thers then brilliant.
