I had lunch with 6 colleagues the other day aged between 35 and 50ish. The talk turned to property as it often does in Ireland. “How many of us are accidental landlords?” I asked. The 50ish has a lovely house. The mid-30s person is wisely biding her time. The rest of us? Wrong place at the wrong time/reckless investors. Take your pick. Choose tactfully.
