Meanwhile I am currently making rose petal jam( from modern thick petal roses- the type that one used to see around in parks etc-) with jam sugar a little white sugar and water and it is fab🤩. Macerate half the petals in a pestle and mortar and finely chop the other half before cooking everything together …
