The going rate for the tooth fairy seems to be €20 at Hugh’s school. Is that normal? It seems utterly extortionate.
Thank you Dot. €20 is utterly extortionate. Our tooth fairy gives out €2. She may be a bit on the mean side but bear in mind that your children have a lot of teeth. I know other fairies give up to €5 but I have never heard of €20. Your tooth fairy must be absolutely beggared. I think, in the spirit of the Haddington Road Agreement she may have to look at making some kind of cutbacks.
