She’s Unchanged

For those of you wondering how my firstborn is getting on in far off England, I offer this exchange from a call the other evening to show that she hasn’t let England change her.

It was, in fact, my fault. I was wearing headphones and my phone in the depths of my handbag had reduced its volume to zero.

And in an entirely different topic…I notice this is in Dublin next week – https://www.bordgaisenergytheatre.ie/show/juliet/ – if you have a free evening it’s really good fun. (My cousin and her family saw it yesterday – including a teenage boy – and described it as ‘tremendous’.) Clearly a show for fun but they mix the Shakespeare in very well and it’s full of energy.

Hmm. I’m a bit exhausted from supporting the arts but will consider!
